Roissy-en-France and its surroundings have now evolved for many years and the hotel park has undergone many changes.
Here is the observation that we can make today between 2010 and 2017.
The territories of Roissy-en-France, Tremblay, Le Mesnil Amelot increased from 31 to 39 Hotels, for a total capacity of 7 200 rooms increasing by almost 2500 bedrooms with the arrival of new brands. The municipality of Roissy-en-France represents 80% of the Roissy-Tremblay-Mesnil-Amelot hotel portfolio.
At the same time, Paris Charles de Gaulle airport has recorded in 7 years 10 million more passengers, reaching 69,4 million passengers in 2017. VIParis hosted new trade fairs and events at the Paris Nord Villepinte and Le Bourget exhibition centers: COP21, BATIMAT, JEC.
At the same time, the hotels in the 3 municipalities record overall RevPar performance that continues(the increasing occupancy rate compensates for the drop in the average price per room).
The year 2016 is characteristic of the consequence of November 2015 attacks.
2017 remains an exceptional year in terms of attendance and performance: the occupancy rate is up 8,6 points to 78,1%. At the level of average prices (85.9 €), a decrease of 3,4% is observed which in the end gives a RevPAR increase of 8,6%. (64.7 €).
