On February 6, the Grand Roissy Tourist Office organized an afterwork at Now Coworking, located in the famous Palais de la Bourse, in the hypercentre of Lille.
The objective was to bring together the hoteliers of the Grand Roissy territory, with meeting planners and Lille event agencies, to present them the destination offer of the Grand Roissy and its possibilities for organizing seminars and business events.
The participants were received from 18pm around a welcome cocktail, before the start of a long period of discussion so that everyone could get to know each other.
The participating hoteliers from Roissy took the time to present their offers for hosting corporate events, when our guests from Lille discussed their needs and expectations.
The Grand Roissy Tourist Office (fort de sa video and its destination brochure) then took a few minutes to present the destination Grand Roissy: an atypical territory, endowed with a wide variety of leisure offers. A change of scenery, the destination has both international golf courses, sports courses and a preserved cultural heritage, all in a hyper-connected space, close to the Benelux and just an hour from Lille.
Moreover, the Grand Roissy Tourist Office has been offering its group service since 2019 in order to support companies in the organization of their events.
At the end of this already busy evening, the participants were able to exchange more informally around a cocktail reception until 22:30 p.m.
Our participants told us about a successful afterwork. The twenty top Lille buyers have discovered a varied and original offer, with reception venues suitable for events of all sizes. Several of them told us that they fell in love with this destination where natural spaces are preserved. The group and leisure offer was also very popular, supplemented by the announcement of the opening of the Golf International de Roissy in 2020. Thanks to these dynamic and friendly exchanges, Lille travel managers were able to project themselves into this little-known but atypical destination .
