In February 2020, hotel performance posted a sharp decrease in RevPAR (-24,4%), due to the combined decreases in attendance (-11,6 pts) and average prices (-10,6%).
The month of February was marked by the shift of school holidays in Zone C compared to last year which affected business activity on the second week of the month and the end of the month was marked by the beginning of the repercussions. of Covid-19 on the hotel business.
It was the 3-star establishments in particular that suffered the most from this drop in activity, with RevPAR falling by more than 40%.
Establishments located in the Allée du Verger area recorded the largest drop in attendance (-17,1 points) and posted an occupancy rate of 56,3% in February.
The hotels located at the airport have the highest occupancy rate with 73,5% (down nearly 7 points compared to February 2019).
