Good news at last. A new breath of activity will animate the villages and districts of Grand Roissy today. If you weren't able to use your meal vouchers during the lockdown, now is the time to inject them back into the local economy. Indeed, the government has decided on a new ceiling which goes from 19 to 38 euros per euro per meal with extension on public holidays and Sundays.

You will be pleasantly surprised by the varied offer of terraces in our territory. See the Google Trends curve on the query "restaurant terrace", we advise you to reserve your tables.

  • Wearing a mandatory mask

For all staff in the dining room and in the kitchen, wearing a mask will be compulsory in bars, cafes and restaurants. This will also be the case for customers "when they are on the move," said Édouard Philippe.

For customers, the mask can therefore logically be removed for a drink or a meal. But it must be put on when entering the establishment, when going to the toilet or when going to pay the bill.

  • Ten people maximum per table

To be allowed to reopen, industry professionals negotiated with the executive. Thus, the guests must be "ten at most per table, with a minimum distance of one meter between the tables of each group", as well as "organized circulation inside the establishments".

  • In bars, no one standing

In the bars, " we will ask operators not to allow consumption standing, indoors“, Clarified Edouard Philippe. It will therefore be necessary to be seated at a table to be able to consume.

The interior spaces will also be arranged to prevent servers and customers from passing each other. Hydroalcoholic gel should also be made available to customers and employees.

  • What size for terraces

When asked about possible enlargements of the terraces to deal with the ban on serving indoors, particularly in the Paris region, or simply to make up for the delay in recent months elsewhere in France, the Prime Minister explained that this decision did not fall within not from the government.

"It will therefore be up to the mayors to possibly decide on a possibility of enlarging the exterior terrace of an establishment", he said, suggesting that there could indeed be greater flexibility on these questions from municipalities.

  • A virtual or disinfected menu

The menus passed from hand to hand without precaution, it's over, at least temporarily. To replace them, customers will be invited to discover the card on the establishment's web page, or through a slate presented by a server, as is already the practice in many establishments in the country. .

For fans of physical menus, however, there is always a possibility: by having them laminated, but on the sole condition that they are disinfected between each passage of the hand. Restrictive.

Likewise, contactless payment methods will be favored.
