In 2014, Lucia Basch began his career in the food industry.

Sensitized very young to the problem of food waste, she decides two years later to focus her career on the fight against waste.

Indeed, Lucie Basch started from the observation that1/3 of all food produced in the world is thrown away. Every day, 100 traders throw away products that are still consumable.

The principle Too Good To Go Is simple : the app connects merchants and their customers who buy the day's unsold items at a reduced price.

The app allows users to be geolocated and thus to be put in touch with partner merchants near them.

The user can then reserve a surprise basket and pick it up by sending an email indicating the time and day of collection.

It is quite possible to bring a container to limit the use of paper and plastic.

As traders cannot know in advance which of their products will not be sold, the baskets reserved by users are therefore "surprised". However, it is possible to inform about any dietary restrictions.

Today, 7,2 millions of users use the Too Good To Go app. 14 partner merchants and more than 17 million meals have already been saved!

Too Good To Go offers a concrete solution to act against food waste ; it also allows those who do not like to cook, who have forgotten their meal at home or who are lacking inspiration, to save their lunch in addition to a meal!
