At the beginning of December, the Air France Foundation pledged to support the “Carbon Scol'ERE France” program launched by the Léo Lagrange Federation.

"Carbon Scol'ERE France"

The program " Carbon Scol'ERE France Is an educational program for elementary schools.

Created by the Léo Lagrange Federation, its objective is tosupport children and their families in adopting eco-responsible actions.

Concretely, the program consists of 5 educational workshops of 2 hours, carried out during school time, for a period of 3 to 5 months. For this, two tools support the students:

  • a dedicated digital platform;
  • a toolbox that explains current environmental issues and suggests concrete solutions to be implemented.

Already experienced in 7 academies in metropolitan France, the program will be rolled out in all regions from January 2021.

Support from the Air France Foundation

The Air France Foundation and the Léo Lagrange Federation have signed a partnership agreement on November 19.

Founded in 1992, the Air France Foundation is therefore committed to providing financial support of € 35, enabling the deployment of “Carbone Scol'ERE France” in Île-de-France.

500 students from 4 municipalities (Roissy-en-France, Sarcelles, Tremblay in France and Juvisy-sur-Orge) will thus benefit from this program, supervised by leaders of the Léo Lagrange Federation (created in 1950).
