Madame, Monsieur,

The year 2020 has just ended. In recent months, we have experienced a particularly difficult context and a crisis of unprecedented scale.

The consequences linked to the health crisis are still particularly virulent for leisure tourism, business tourism, for our hoteliers, our restaurateurs, for our traders.

Some of us are hit even harder by this pandemic.

However, great things are born out of every crisis. In 2020, we have witnessed more than ever a spirit of solidarity and initiative.

Many of us have revealed our ability to reinvent ourselves, to show creativity and perseverance in order to continue to bring tourism, trade and local life to life.

The Grand Roissy Tourist Office has always maintained the link with its audiences, especially during its closed periods. Digital tools allow us to pursue the missions that are ours. Every week, we continue to share news from our five municipalities, as well as the great initiatives that are undertaken there.

More than ever, the Tourist Office is preparing for the missions and projects that will have to be carried out during the coming year.

Today I hope that the year 2021 will allow us to foresee the end of this crisis and the beginning of a more fruitful period.

I want to believe that the best is yet to come and that the initiatives carried out in the context we know are shaping the contours of tomorrow's tourism.

Also, the team of the Tourist Office and I would like to send you our best wishes for this year 2021 who starts.

Denis Côme, President of the Grand Roissy Tourist Office
