In order to verify Covid tests in a secure manner and to streamline the customer journey at the airport, Air France will test the digitization of results using the “ICC AOKPASS” system.

"ICC AOKPASS" is a application mobile. It allows passengers tosecurely record the results of their Covid test (which must be carried out in a partner laboratory).

At the airport, passengers can therefore present their smartphone instead of a paper test. The application also allows check that the test complies with the regulations of the destination country via a network secured by blockchain technology.

With the support of Paris Aéroport, the test of these digital results will last four weeks, from March 11, 2021. The test will only cover Air France flights, departing from CDG and going to Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) and Fort-de-France (Martinique).

Of course, this test will be carried out only on a voluntary basis. Air France will collect reviews from test clients and will share this feedback with the companies of the Skyteam alliance.

This solution was developed by MedAire / International SOS, the International Chamber of Commerce and SGS.
