In March 2021, the occupancy rate of hotels in Grand Roissy reached 20,9%, a level relatively similar to that recorded in February 2021.

The average attendance nevertheless fell by 11,5 points compared to March 2020, mixed period of confinement on the French market, which leads to a contraction of RevPAR of -47,2%.

Year-to-date, the occupancy rate is 22,7% (down 34,1 points), while at the same time, RevPAR fell by nearly 68,4% to € 15,8, compared to the same period in 2020.

Given the collapse of international air traffic and the decline in business activity, all the dynamic areas of Greater Paris have experienced a significant loss of their international clientele.

The uncertainty that has dominated the market for several months is preventing major events with air and rail traffic from being held., which therefore does not encourage the projection of displacements.

In the greater Roissy area, the hotels located near Roissy airport have naturally suffered the most, with attendance down 18,2 points in March 2021 compared to March 2020, and RevPAR down 57,4%.

The Villepinte area is also showing a decline in attendance which is particularly linked to the events activity of the Parc des Expositions Villepinte (-11,4 points), ie an occupancy rate of 18,5%.

The entry-level segment is the most popular with an occupancy rate of 33,3% in March 2021, down around 5 points compared to March 2020.

Over the year, 1 and 2 * hotels reached an occupancy rate of around 39%, still down compared to the same period in 2020, followed by mid-range hotels with an average attendance of 18,8 , XNUMX%.
