Terminal 2B reopens

Le terminal 2B de Roissy CDG so reopened its doors this 2 June.
For six months, Paris Aéroport had kept only two open terminals (the 2E and 2F).

now some flights will therefore be relocated.

Indeed, in normal times the airlines have an assigned terminal. Since June 2, however, flights can therefore be maintained on terminals 2E or 2F, or be switched to 2B.

Consequently, Paris Airport advises to contact your company directly to make sure you find the right terminal.

The history of Terminal 2B

As explained by Paris Aéroport, on the website of the Maison de l'Environnement, Paris-Charles de Gaulle terminal 2B was closed on April 9, 2013. It had been in operation since 1981, with construction standards dating back to 1970. Why this closure? Because over time, the traffic has evolved, and the terminal suffered from the break-up of Paris-Charles de Gaulle between halls A, B, C and D. The fact of rehabilitating it today is a real affirmation of Paris Aéroport's desire to get closer to the single terminal.

For passengers, this rehabilitation is the promise of a better experience, with a smoother course and modern and pleasant infrastructures. And it also makes it possible to better pool and centralize resources, whether they be inspection stations or baggage deliveries.

The link between the terminals 2B and 2D makes it possible to make these two terminals a functional unit. It is a unique project, since it includes a shopping area inspired by the famous Parisian halls!
