The Grand Roissy Tourist Office formalizes its membership of the Acteurs du Tourisme Durable association!
Indeed, the Tourist Office is involved already on the question of sustainable development,.
For several months, the teams have been increasing actions in order to limit their impact on the environment. In fact, the Grand Roissy Tourist Office:
- Raise awareness among the general public
- Raise awareness among Office staff and partners
- Promotes the committed actors of the territory
- Promotes short circuits in the sale of products
- Integrates with the territory's environmental commitments and actions
- Help make the destination accessible to all
This is why we have decided togo even further by joining the ATD association : Sustainable Tourism Players.
ATD, what is it?
Mathieu Duchesne created the ATD association in 2013. Indeed, its objective is to unite all tourism stakeholders. This national professional network must develop the tourism sector towards more responsible practices.
Concretely, this goes throughexchange of good practices and creating synergies, as explained on ATD's website.
Thus, in 2021, more than 150 tourism stakeholders are members of the ATD network.
And now, the Grand Roissy Tourist Office is one of them. Membership of ATD allows us to:
- Inform us on sustainable development news
- Share our best practices and learn from other members
- Participate to working groups
- Engage us specifically in favor of sustainable development and to limit our impact on the environment
