The National Renaissance Museum offers free tours around the castle, its architecture and its decor. Thus, next Saturday and Sunday, you will be able to attend both conference visits and / or outdoor activities within the domain. You can therefore take advantage of all the activities of the castle but entry and visit to the museum are also free throughout the weekend.

What to do on Saturday September 18?

As of Saturday, you will be able to take advantage of guided tours from 11:30 a.m. and until 16:15 p.m. Accompanied by three different speakers during the day, we invite you to combine knowledge and heritage. You will be able to discover on this occasion the exterior architecture and the interior of the castle. Thus, you will be in the company of Anaïs Péris, lecturer at the Réunion des Musées Nationaux, and Matteo Gianeselli, heritage curator at the National Renaissance Museum. Finally, Julie Rohou, heritage curator at the National Renaissance Museum will also accompany you. At 18 pm, join the courtyard of the castle to relieve yourself of the concert by Sylvain Daniel "Pauca Meae". The latter is a "modern" musical setting from Book IV of Victor Hugo's Contemplations for electric quartet, string quartet and narrator.

You will be able to discover three activities on Saturday afternoon:

  • 14h30-16h00: Guided tour by the CAUE (architectural, town planning and environmental advice) : Urban walk in Écouen, a unique resort in the Plain
