Elise Baron and Eva Genel created the FiG association in 2019. It supports restaurateurs in reducing their greenhouse gas emissions by following a simple process by issuing an Eco-Responsible label.

Following this observation, we wonder how we can reduce this figure as individuals but also as professionals. How to be more virtuous without completely changing habits? FiG's objective is therefore to support restaurateurs towards a responsible approach, taking into account their strengths and their specificities.

FiG has carried out scientific research in order to compare the impacts of each gesture of the restaurant and its impact. Thus, the association has created an evaluation grid which is based on: a low-carbon card, a virtuous choice of supply and anti-waste actions.

FiG offers diagnostics to restaurants according to their index. Then Recommendations result in concrete action on emissions. To promote the progress of restaurateurs, FiG highlights them on the fork (THE restaurant table reservation website).

Restaurant owners can thus set an example in this sector and prove that we have fun without impacting the environment.
