With a length of 26,5 km, line 17 extends over 13 municipalities in the departments of Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-d'Oise and Seine-et-Marne. She goes connect 9 stations: from Saint-Denis Pleyel to Mesnil-Amelot in only 2 minutes.
With the aim of make everyday life easier of nearly 565 inhabitants, this new line splits into two sections. On the one hand the line 17 South, 6 km long between Saint-Denis Pleyel and Le Bourget-RER with a common route with part of line 16. On the other hand, the line 17 North which extends the route over 20,5 km (including 5,5 km in the air) to the Mesnil-Amelot.

The future Villepinte exhibition center station will be the first aerial station of the Grand Paris Express. She will have a all-metal frame. Designed by the architectural firm Dietmar Feichtinger Architects, it will take place over 5 kilometers.
This line will connect the municipalities of Gonesse in Tremblay-en-France. This section will cross via a first viaduct the A1 and A3 motorways ; the second the RD40 South ; and finally the last one will cross the RER B tracks.
« The project will contribute to strengthening the transport offer in the sectors of Pleyel, the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte and the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airports east of Le Bourget; major economic hubs in the Ile-de-France and which will benefit nearly 565 inhabitants in the north of the metropolis » announces NGE.
Between 130 and 000 trips are expected on show days; and between 160 and 000 million annual trips.
The aerial section of line 17 entrusted to NGE Génie Civil
NGE Foundations and Guintoli Major Projects, go building the Parc des Expositions station. But also four earthworks; as well as the three viaducts. These will be located on the section crossing the municipalities of Gonesse, Aulnay-sous-Bois, Villepinte and Tremblay-en-France. The contract amount is 327,9 million.
