In 2022, Mr. Denis Côme, President of the Grand Roissy Tourist Office presented the new heritage trail connected to Roissy.
About ten years ago, the Office and the town hall of Roissy-en-France set up a heritage trail featuring postcards presenting the life of Roissy residents in the last century.
These panels were beginning to age and blend into the landscape of the village. The Tourist Office has therefore organized a working group with its partners to renew the route and at the same time to innovate.
The result: a course made up of 16 reconstituted concrete plates in which an NFC chip is inserted. This technology allows anyone with a telephone to be able to read a web page with more in-depth explanations of the stage.
This technology is brought to us by the company Agoracom which carries out heritage discovery trails throughout France. Sustainable Tourism Actor like the Tourist Office, Agoracom is doing everything to ensure that the footprint of this route is as light as possible.
The walk shows you that the village has a strong agricultural past, that a lord lived there, there were majestic trees there already more than 200 years ago. We also see the daily life of Roisséens with school, post office, drinking establishments, transport... A rich life to discover!
Residents and tourists will therefore be able to take advantage of this stroll through time and discover or rediscover a facet of the village that they probably would not have imagined.
