The 30th Salon Artistique will take place from October 15 to 23 at Cultural Center of the Orangery. This year the artists in the spotlight are Pascal Niau and Alain Guillotin.
Pascal Niau, painter
Coming from the culinary world in which he excels and receives numerous awards, he has always intended for an artistic career.
This passion has been present since a very young age. At four years old, he traded his drawings for cakes !
His adage: Learn to look at Gastronomy differently“. Tasting a cake with his eyes or savoring the colors of a painting, the artist knows how to play his two passions brilliantly.
Today it devotes himself entirely to his art and his painting called "Gourmande" which has conquered major trade fairs both in France and abroad.
Alain Guillotin, sculptor
It is through his works, painting first, then sculpture, that Alain Guillotin expresses himself and lets you discover him and appreciate his work. His first figurative paintings gradually become abstract. His sculptures are quickly more contemporary and refined, leaving the imagination to the visitor.
Today he presents a work in a “minimalist” style suggesting the purpose of his creations.
With his very personal compositions, Alain Guillotin plunges you into his universe full of aesthetics and restraints !
