This year, the summer season will be marked by new service openings departing fromParis Charles de Gaulle airport. With traffic up 119,4% in 2022 compared to 2021, Paris Charles de Gaulle airport has made a good start in its post-covid recovery and to satisfy this growing number of passengers, new destinations are now available to them.

A new Boeing for Korean Air

As of May 22, 2023, Korean Air will increase its seat capacity for its Seoul-Inchon – Paris-CDG flight. The company will indeed switch from a Boeing 777-300ER to a 747-8i which will increase its capacity by 70 seats, a replacement which will be made on its daily Seoul-Paris flight. You can therefore take advantage of the summer period to come and visit the Korean capital! Leaving Paris at 21 p.m. you can enjoy Gyeongbokgung Palace and stroll through the Hanok village of Bukchon from 17:05 p.m. the next day, and leave Seoul a few days later at 12:15 p.m. to arrive in Paris at 18:30 p.m.

Go to Ottawa with Air France

If your heart leans more for the West than the East, Air France will open on June 27, 2023 a new service between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier. With 5 direct flights scheduled per week by Airbus A330-200, i.e. a capacity of 224 seats, you can take off from Paris at 13:10 p.m. and arrive at 15:05 p.m. in Ottawa to go see Parliament Hill or stroll along the Rideau Canal. With a possible return from Ottawa at 17:05 p.m. which will bring you the next day to Paris at 06:15 a.m. Air France will be the only airline offering direct flights between Ottawa and Europe. One way to consolidate an already well-established relationship with Canada, Air France providing flights to 5 destinations: Ottawa, Quebec, Montreal (the line inaugurated in summer 2022 has been renewed from May 2023), Toronto and Vancouver.
