Since 2019, theGrand Roissy Tourist Office develops a strategy for enhancing the territory under the brand " Roissy Land of Business & Leisure ". To go further in this promotion of our destination, we ask the actors of the territory to take a step towards more sustainable tourism thanks to our charter of commitment.
A charter of commitment for sustainable tourism
With this label “committed to sustainable tourism”, we call on the commitment and cooperation of all the players in the territory. The mission of this eco-responsible label is to develop sustainable virtuous tourism in Grand Roissy. The goal here is to give more visibility to the destination Greater Roissy, by involving you in the recovery process. We wish to reinforce the attractiveness of the territory so that it becomes a real strong asset of your business model.
This label will be issued by us to honor the actors of the territory "committed to a sustainable territory". For this, they must sign our Grand Roissy commitment charter. This charter consists of 5 commitments:
- Be a member of the Grand Roissy Tourist Office
- Follow the information/training sessions organized by the Tourist Office
- Promoting or selling local products
- Promote the "Roissy Land of Business & Leisure" brand and promote the region's assets
- Implement sustainable development actions
This charter of commitment materializes the recognition of your actions in terms of environmental protection and sustainable development. This is a flexible charter which allows you to choose your commitments from a list, based on the solutions that best suit your context and your strategy.
Finally, for the signatories of this charter, annual points will be set up to discuss the possibilities offered by the territory. You will be able to talk about your upcoming commitments, your ideas and your expectations. And you can use this label "committed to sustainable tourism" freely in your communication.
