Friday April 21 will mark the start of the school holidays. To do this, the Grand Roissy Tourist Office has concocted a thrilling program for you to spend an unforgettable family holiday.
The Spring Festival in Roissy-en-France
This weekend, come and enjoy the first weekend of school holidays in Roissy-en-France during the Spring Festival! Many stands, activities and workshops will punctuate your family day. So, bring your most beautiful bike, scooter or stroller to decorate them in the allotment gardens then take part with your creation in the big parade at 15 p.m. Composting workshops, sustainable gardening, making garden houses… will also be accessible to everyone!

Workshops and tours for everyone at ARCHÉA
As with every school holiday, ARCHEA offers several activities for all ages:
- For toddlers (18 months-3 years): a first workshop to discover the museum, its building, its collections and the work of archaeologists (Wednesday 26 April)
- For toddlers (4-6 years old): make your own pop'up (Friday 28 April) or build your giant castle in kapla (Friday, May 5)
- Young archeologists (from 7 years old): workshops to discover the heritage of schools (Thursday 27 April), imagine its territory of the future (Wednesday, May 3) or make his monument model (Thursday, May 4).
Additionally, the exhibition A la carte heritage. Discovering Roissy Pays de France » is open throughout the holidays. It allows you to discover in a fun way the heritage of the territory around the museum, known or unknown.
Guided tours are offered every Sunday afternoon at 15 p.m. to discover the temporary exhibition but also thepermanent exhibition which presents the history of this territory from prehistory to the present day. On April 23, the visit will evoke the funerary heritage, on April 30 villas and castles and on May 7 it is a general discovery of the two exhibitions. Visit included in the museum ticket from 8 years old.
Plaine Oxygène: water and ice!
Your heart swings between Winter and Spring? Do you like swimming and sliding just as much? Go without further delay to the Plaine Oxygène Leisure Center which will offer you a space with several pools, slide, well-being area (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, etc.) but also an ice rink. Something to satisfy young and old. From this weekend, the ice rink is adapting its opening hours to the holidays and offers you an unforgettable “Smoke on Ice” evening from 20 p.m. to midnight. To your bathing suits and down jackets!
Gressy: on foot or by bike on the Canal de l'Ourcq and on the Scandibérique
Located just ten kilometers from Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, Gressy is a veritable green setting where calm and well-being are essential. Have the return of the beautiful days, how about discovering this exotic commune of Greater Roissy to enjoy a stroll along the Ourcq Canal as well as the pond of Gressy, but also on the very famous Scandibérique!
