For the first time, RwandAir will offer non-stop flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Flights will be operated three times a week between Kigali and Paris CDG from June 27. Flights will take off from the Rwandan capital at 00:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving in Paris at 09:30 a.m.

The return flight will leave Paris at 21:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving in Kigali at 06:00 a.m. the following day.

The new route represents the only direct flight between Rwanda and France, and adds to the carrier's existing flights to London Heathrow, which have operated non-stop since November last year (there was previously a stopover in Brussels) .

The carrier aims to double its fleet over the next five years, alongside moving into its new home at Bugesera International Airport.
