Australian airline Qantas recently announced the launch of non-stop flights between Paris and Perth.

A new historic connection: Paris-Perth

Qantas has made the long-awaited announcement of first ever non-stop flight between Paris and Australia. This new route will establish a direct link between the French capital and Perth, the capital of Western Australia, reducing travel time by more than two hours compared to traditional flight routes. This service should be launched on July 12, 2024, offering travelers a revolutionary transportation option between Europe and Australia.

Qantas will initially operate this route four days a week during the summer period, thanks to flights carried out aboard Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Then, from mid-August 2024, the frequency will increase to three flights per week, providing more options for travelers between the two continents. Passengers will be able to enjoy the wide range of domestic destinations in Australia offered by Qantas using Perth as a transit point, simplifying their journeys across the country.

The flight between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Perth will cover a distance of 14 264 km and will have a duration approximately 16 hours and 30 minutes, depending on weather conditions and winds. When launched, it will be classified as the fifth longest passenger flight in the world, offering travelers a unique experience.

Just in time for the Olympics

The announcement of this new route comes at a good time, as Paris prepares to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024. The first passengers to take this new route will likely be Australian athletes traveling to Paris to participate in this event world-renowned sportsman. This is a unique opportunity for travelers to experience this new flight option, which will offer significant benefits in terms of time and convenience.
