Dear partner, dear member,
During this festive period, the Grand Roissy Tourist Office would like to express its gratitude to each of you who have contributed to making our territory an exceptional place to explore. The past year has been rich in discoveries, sharing and memorable moments.
This new year will have a special meaning with the celebration of the 50thrd anniversary of our majestic Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. Inaugurated in 1974 with the aim of relieving congestion at Orly airport, CDG has established itself over the last 50 years as a key player in air transport in Europe. In this year 2024, we will celebrate the inauguration of Terminal 1 of Paul Andreu as well as the arrival of the first hotel in Roissy-en-France: the Sofitel, which has since evolved to become the Pullman, and which we know today as the name of Mercury.
The year 2024 will not only be a year of festivities, but also a year dedicated to sport with the Paris Olympic Games. As Land of Games, we are committed to sharing Olympic values, and this will be realized through a photo exhibition in the Town Hall Park, highlighting this international competition and its fascinating human stories. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our territory who are passionate about sport and eager to discover the riches of France.
