Discover the new edition of the festival Book like air, organized by Roissy Pays de France, from Wednesday February 28 to Saturday March 23, 2024. Celebrate children's literature and illustration in the intercommunal network's media libraries and other partner locations.

A guest of honor

Julie Chausson

Julia Chausson is an illustrator and artist-engraver. A graduate of Decorative Arts in Paris, she trained in wood engraving. She has published around thirty artists' books and albums with Hélium, Palette, Actes Sud and Rue du monde, where she created the collection of engraved nursery rhymes “Les Petits Chaussons”. She regularly holds exhibitions and workshops around engravings and children's books.

A brand new theme

For this new edition, the festival wishes to highlight the diversity of techniques used for the illustration of a children's book. Drawing, embroidery, painting, engraving, collage, sand, photography are all techniques used by artists to invite you to explore their unique worlds.


For a month, you will be invited to participate in creative workshops, exhibitions and shows. Using pencil, scissors, glue, or brushes, Livre comme l'air, children's literature festival invites you to a creative experience to discover the fabulous worlds of artists whose talent is also expressed through their technique!
