Last Thursday March 21, 2024, we participated in the Tourism Day on the leisure island of Cergy-Pontoise, organized by Val d'Oise Tourism. This year, the annual meeting day for tourism stakeholders in Val d'Oise took place under the sign of sustainability.

Summary of the day:

  • An exchange with 45 exhibitors This meeting allowed professionals in the sector to present their offers and initiatives in the field of sustainable tourism. Our Tourist Office was represented by Chloé, Julien and Joëlle.

  • A press conference with 10 news items The highlights of the day were summarized during this conference, highlighting the progress and current projects in the tourism sector of Val d'Oise.
  • Presentation of the department's tourism strategy here The objectives and areas of development of the departmental tourism strategy were presented, emphasizing the importance given to sustainability and preservation of the environment.
  • An introduction to responsible tourism (by Fabrice Dalongeville) Fabrice Dalongeville opened the day by highlighting the principles of responsible tourism and emphasizing its importance for the future of the sector.
  • 3 workshops to implement greener tourism:
    • A CSR approach to limit the environmental impact of companies (led by Vincent Miquel, Leslie Lupu and Tariana Carvalho)
    • Marketing a responsible stay (led by Genséric Maingreaud and Marie-Valérie Vavasseur)
    • Building a sustainable tourism strategy (led by Marie Guignon and Félicie Bellêtre)
