ARCHEA Museum

Luminous Sentinels of the Past

The visual artists of “Les Plastiqueurs” transform the spaces of the museum with their creations. “Chalices totems” and “amphora chandeliers” stand like guardians of history, evoking a world engulfed by time. The elegant curves of the amphoras, illuminated with a glowing glow, warm the atmosphere of the exhibition rooms. Alongside them, the luminous totems light the way for visitors, inviting a mysterious exploration of the vestiges of the past. This scenography evokes the timeless link between archaeological discoveries and the stories that accompany them.

Collective and participatory creation

A special invitation is extended to visitors: to participate in the creation of a collective sculpture. During the sculpture workshop led by the artists of “Les Plastiqueurs”, parents and children (from 7 years old) can bring amphoras and volumes to life using glue, cardboard and cutting tools. cutting. The pieces produced during this workshop will stack up to form small totems, thus creating a collective ephemeral installation which will resonate in harmony with the light scenography of the museum.

An evening full of discoveries

In addition to this immersive artistic experience, ARCHÉA offers throughout the evening:

  • Guided tours of the temporary exhibition “ARTcheology, vestiges and works” as well as the permanent exhibition, allowing you to delve into the history of the Pays de France through the presentation of 780 archaeological objects.
