The year 2025 promises to be a significant one for business and professional travelers in the MICE sector, with significant new developments in transportation. Greater Roissy is at the heart of new connections, whether in Europe or internationally.
Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport strengthens its connections with Asia
In 2025, business travelers will be able to benefit from new air links between Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and Asia, significantly improving the accessibility of Grand Roissy to Asian markets:
- Air France Paris-Manila launches from December 7, 2024. The French company will inaugurate three weekly flights between Paris and Manila, thus expanding its network to Southeast Asia.
- Malaysia Airlines is back in Paris. From March 23, 2025, Malaysia Airlines will relaunch daily direct flights between Paris and Kuala Lumpur.
This strategic return facilitates trade between Europe and South-East Asia, thus strengthening the presence of Paris-CDG airport with direct connections towards this region. These developments offer the MICE travelers new options for optimize their journeys, while bringing Grand Roissy even closer to the major Asian metropolises.

New Paris-Berlin high-speed line
As of December 16, 2024, a new travel option will be available to professionals and tourists with the High-speed rail line launched directly connecting Paris to BerlinThis daily connection, a historic first, will be operated by the Deutsche Bahn in partnership with SNCF, and represents a major step forward for business travel in Europe.
The journey, which will take around 8 hours, will serve the city centres of both capitals, with stops in Strasbourg, Karlsruhe and Frankfurt. It will be provided by German ICE trains. The departure or arrival in France will be from Gare de l'Est, ideally located just 20 minutes from Grand Roissy. Furthermore, this line will also offer a new frequency for journeys between Île de France and Strasbourg.

Etihad Airways doubles its rotations between Abu Dhabi and Paris-CDG
From January 15, 2025, Etihad Airways will offer two daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Paris-Charles de Gaulle. These flights will be operated in three classes: First, Business and Economic. Departures and arrivals will be scheduled in the morning and evening, offering great flexibility to passengers to choose the time that suits them best.
The increase in this frequency strengthens Grand Roissy's connections to the Gulf countries and Asia, a major asset for business travelers looking to optimize their international travel.
