The Greater Roissy hotel sector is posting exceptional results for the month of August 2024. The occupancy rate reached 77,4%, up +16,5 points compared to 2022, marked in particular by the reception of Paris OlympicsThese results confirm a historic recovery for the area, with spectacular growth in all performance indicators.

Occupancy rates are rising sharply

The month of August 2024 is distinguished by a hotel performance significantly higher than that of 2022, with an overall occupancy rate of 77,4%, an increase of + 16,5 pointsEstablishments classified as 3 stars and above recorded the strongest increases, with increases of between 20 and 25 pointsThis upturn in activity is largely attributed to the impact of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which have significantly boosted hotel demand in the region.

A decisive Olympic effect

As observed in July, the Paris Olympics have significantly marked the month of August 2024. The return of international customers and the resumption of activities at Roissy airport contributed to a sustained recovery for hotels in the area. The Parc des Expositions de Villepinte also returned to normal activity, thus strengthening hotel demand in the surrounding area. This convergence of events made it possible to achieve unprecedented occupancy levels for the summer period.

Spectacular growth in RevPAR

The performance of the Grand Roissy hotels is not limited to occupancy. RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room) has exploded with a progression of +141,9% between August 2022 and August 2024. The Villepinte hotels, in particular, saw their RevPAR increase by + 226,8 % compared to 2022, due to the return of event activity in the area. Overall, 1 and 2-star hotel slots recorded an increase of +77,5%, while 3-star establishments experienced spectacular growth of +178,8%.

Solid performance for 2024

Between January and August 2024, the overall trend confirms the recovery of hotel activity at Grand Roissy. The indicators show impressive progressions, with a increase of +13,4 points of the occupancy rate, an increase of +30,8% in the average price, and a RevPAR up +60,0% compared to the same period in 2022.

These results position 2024 as an exceptional year for hotels in the region, confirming a solid and sustainable recovery dynamic.
