Among the workshops, there is a focus on biodiversity with the association « M for Honey« , which will introduce participants to the importance of bees in our ecosystems. A workshop “Zero Waste”, hosted by the SIGIDURS (Intercommunal Union for Urban Waste Management), will offer practical advice on how to reduce our daily waste. Residents will also have the opportunity to visit the Villiers-le-Bel recycling center, a structure committed to the circular economy, where they will discover how to extend the lifespan of objects through reuse.

Finally, a family moment is planned with the broadcast of the cartoon « THE LORAX« , an inspiring work on the preservation of nature, ideal for raising awareness among young people.

Citizen kick-off: “Let’s clean up the city”🌳

The official launch of Green Week will take place on Sunday 20 October with the operation "Let's clean up the city". Supervised by the youth service of the municipality, this civic action will invite residents to participate in a collective collection of waste in the streets of Le Thillay. This symbolic and concrete act aims to reinforce the importance of individual and collective responsibility in protecting our environment.

Celebrating Youth Efforts: Drawing Competition and Graduation🧑‍🎓

Friday October 25 will mark the closing of the week with two highlights. First, the award ceremony for the drawing competition “Let’s protect nature in autumn”, open to young people in the city. This creative competition aims to raise awareness among children about the importance of protecting natural resources through art.

Then the teenagers of the teen center will be rewarded for their awareness campaign carried out throughout the week. These young people mobilized to inform and involve their peers on current ecological issues. An initiative that underlines the importance of passing on these values to future generations.
