The Golden Tulip Paris CDG Villepinte Airport is much more than just a hotel for business travelers. Under the direction of Chef Rodolphe CODEVELLE, his restaurant has established itself as a gastronomic destination in its own right in the Grand Roissy. This passionate chef tells how he took on the challenge of creating a distinctive offer for an international clientele.

1- You got into the business thanks to your father. Can you tell us about this family influence and how it shaped your career path?

From a very young age, in fact I fell into the pot thanks to my father, talways near him in the kitchen where he introduced me to the products. While developing the pleasure of tasting each dish which shaped my professional career allowing me to obtain my place in large Parisian establishments.

2- Your themed buffets (French, Asian, American, seafood, etc.) have become a specialty of the Golden Tulip Paris CDG Villepinte Airport. How do you design these buffets to meet the expectations of an international business clientele?

My sideboards are designed for an international and local business clientele, remembering my professional meetings and the help of my colleagues from different cultural backgrounds.

3- What sustainable development initiatives have you implemented in your kitchens to reduce the environmental impact?

In my kitchen to reduce the environmental impact, I favor the use of seasonal products, local and French. As Like unusual vegetables, and Meaux mustards, lpasta made with local cereals and other ingredients that adorn our plates.

4- For a business meal for 2 people, what can you suggest for starter, main course, dessert?

For a good business meal, I suggest you come and discover our hot and cold buffets in seasonal colors. For a plated menu, it is possible to make in advance according to your tastes. As a dessert, I recommend our Homemade "Mille-Feuille" to be enjoyed without moderation.

5- After lunch at your restaurant, what visit or activity at Grand Roissy would you recommend to enhance your clients' stay?

After lunch at the restaurant, a fun walk around the Roissy International Golf and for the more courageous, a little practice on site. For a pleasant visit, the National Museum of the Renaissance à ÉCOUEN waiting for you !
