Pink October: get active, raise awareness and get tested!

Every year, the month of October brings the fight against breast cancer in the spotlight. The municipalities of theagglomeration Roissy Pays de France are mobilizing with solidarity events, sports activities and the Mammobus to facilitate screening. Participate, support the cause and take care of your health! 🩷

Events to not miss

Roissy-en-France

• Roiss Mad Rose Race – October 5, 2025, 16 p.m.
  Meet at Tournelles sports complex for a fun and supportive journey, open to young and old. The symbolic participation of €1 will be donated to the fight against breast cancer. Come with family or friends, dressed in pink, to support the cause.

• Girly Night – October 17, 2025, 18:30 p.m.
  À La Passerelle, participate in a women-only evening with wellness workshops (massages, yoga, reflexology, etc.) and creative and beauty workshops (lip balm, jewelry creation, bag customization, etc.).

Participation: € 5 minimum – Registration required by email at passerelle@ville-roissy95.fr

• Nakmuay Boxing : “Let’s Knock Out” evenings on October 7 and November 10 (min. participation €2)

• Association of traders : Sale of organic apple juice, all profits of which will be donated to the fight against breast cancer

• Movember – men’s health prevention
  In November, the city offers individual appointments with a nurse to discuss the male cancers (prostate, testicles) and take stock of your health habits. By registering at CCAS of Roissy-en-France.

ÉCOUEN

The city of Écouen is organizing a Pink walk – Nordic walking le Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m..

• Start Point: entrance to the forest, Resistance Street
• Nordic walking poles provided by the sports department
• Free, by registering by email at mariealex.hatchi@ecouen.fr

This event friendly and supportive is open to everyone. Dress in pink or white and come walk to show your support for women affected by breast cancer.

The Mammobus: easy and free screening

Du September 29 to November 6, 2025, Mammobus, device of Roissy Country of France, stops in 15 municipalities in the territory: Dammartin-en-Goële, Écouen, Fosses, Garges-lès-Gonesse, Gonesse, Goussainville, Le Mesnil-Amelot, Le Thillay, Louvres, Mitry-Mory, Moussy-le-Neuf, Roissy-en-France, Sarcelles, Villeparisis and Villiers-le-Bel.

This health bus allows all women to access free screening for breast cancerOn site, you will be able to:

• Participate in the prevention workshop “Palp'Action” to learn self-palpation,
• Consult a doctor,
• Perform a mammogram and/or ultrasound if necessary.
