At the time, Sarcelles It was a new city that was developing. Many former sailors settled there for work and created The Sarcelles-Garges Sailors' Association.
Opened in 1993the museum was created by these sailorseager to share their passion for the navy with the largest number. Originally, they organized exhibitions and events where sailors from all over France They brought back objects from their careers: trophies, pulleys, propellers, ashtrays… The city then lent them a space to gather all these objects and photographs.

⚓ Our opinion From the moment you enter, you're struck by the richness of the collections. Impressive models, objects brought back from all over France, period photographs… You truly feel like you've traveled back in time.
