From April 30 to May 3, 2026The Pierre de Coubertin space in Goussainville becomes the world center for Aesthetic Group Gymnastics. More than 1,200 gymnasts from 24 countries will compete in the World Cup & Challenge Cup II as well as the AFCGE Cup, in a spectacle combining grace, synchronization and performance.
What is Group Aesthetic Gymnastics?
Group Aesthetic Gymnastics (GEG) is a sport born from the fusion of gymnastics, dance, art, and acrobatics. Teams of gymnasts interpret a musical theme through fluid, synchronized, and expressive movements. Each routine thus becomes a true theatrical performance where emotion is at the heart of the show.
Growing rapidly internationally, GEG now has 9 clubs, 48 teams and nearly 300 gymnasts in France, under the banner of the AFCGE — the French Association of Group Aesthetic Gymnastics Clubs.
A 4-day program

The event is structured into two separate competitions, accessible to different age and skill levels:
- J-1 AFCGE Cup Preliminaries — International tournament open to Children, Juniors, Seniors and mixed teams
- J-2 AFCGE Cup Final + Official World Cup & Challenge Cup II Training
- J-3 World Cup & Challenge Cup II Preliminaries — reserved for Senior and Junior programs
- J-4 World Cup & Challenge Cup II Final
