A photographic look at local agriculture

This edition highlights the photographer's work Geoffroy Mathieu, commissioned to document the region's agriculture. His photographs were taken on 7 agricultural sites : Cuypers farm (Thieux), Moret farm (Le Plessis-Gassot), Valfrance agricultural cooperative (Saint-Mard), Haquin farm (Juilly), Lemoine farm or Condos farm (Arnouville), Chatelain Nurseries (Le Thillay) and Compans Pick-Your-Own.

He captures the gestures scenery and infrastructure which mark the rhythm of agricultural life throughout the seasons. The photographs will be on display in several locations. intercommunal media libraries and in a temporary location at the Picking Compans.

A rich program across the entire territory

The festival will launch on Tuesday, May 5 at 18 p.m. at the Cube intercommunal media library in Garges-lès-Gonesse. On this occasion, the public will be able to participate in a guided tour of the exhibition on the Condos farm in the presence of the photographer, followed by the screening of the film Rural at 19:30pm at the L'Écran du Cube cinema in Garges.

Throughout the festival, photo exhibitions, workshops. et met will be offered at various facilities in Roissy Pays de France. Find more information and the program on the Roissy Pays de France agglomeration website.

Photographic notebooks to discover

The festival will also be an opportunity to discover the collection of photographic notebooks " Focus Roissy Pays de France Available free of charge at the exhibition venues, these books bring together a selection of photographs presented during the festival, as well as previously unpublished images.
