Summer has well and truly arrived in Écouen, and with it, a program of sporting and cultural activities that is already in full swing!

A lively summer in the heart of the city: Summer terraces 🍹

Although the festivities already began in June, the program picks up speed for July and August.
Whether you are with family, friends or alone, the city transforms into a true playground and relaxation area.

🏓Sport:

Ready to sweat and have fun? Get into action mode with our sports programming 💪:

  • Don't miss the triathlon of 1er July with cycling, running and archery on the program from 14:30pm to 16:30pm followed by an introduction to circus arts at Lemaire Park.
  • Several tournaments are also taking place at Parc Lemaire: Pétanque (July 2 from 18:30 p.m. to 19:30 p.m.), ping-pong (July 3 from 17:00 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.), Kickball (July 4 from 14:30 p.m. to 16:30 p.m.), or even human foosball (July 8 (from 17pm to 18:30pm).
  • Unusual: It's also an opportunity to try out-of-the-ordinary sports! On the program: Dodgeball (July 9 (from 17pm to 19pm), Hockey (July 11 (from 17pm to 19pm), Kinball (July 17 (from 14:30 pm to 19:00 pm) and much more…

🎨Culture and creativity:

Whether you want to express your creativity and unleash your artistic side, enjoy a moment of sharing outdoors or solve the mysteries of a great investigation game, you will definitely find what you are looking for!

  • Create your own stained glass window (1er July From 14:30 pm to 16:30 pm, adults, €5 e-reservation), make your own personalized Bento Cake (July 4(from 2pm to 6pm), make a Tic-Tac-Toe game (July 8 from 14pm to 17pm) or try your hand at pottery (July 15 from 14 a.m. to 18 p.m.).
  • Open-air cinema: The Friday 3 JulyBring out the tablecloths for a big family picnic starting at 19pm in Lemaire Park, followed by the screening of “Nos jours heureux"at 21:45 p.m."
  • Grand Game: All aboard! Join the crew for a grand investigation game:  The Pirates' Camp le Saturday 4 July afternoon from 14:30pm to 17:30pm.

A cultural getaway to the National Renaissance Museum – Écouen Castle 🏰

The National Museum of the Renaissance is also buzzing all summer long with a full cultural program!

  • Themed guided tours: Discover the castle and its collections every weekend at 11am and 14:15pm, or opt for the "Nature and Plants" tour at 16pm to explore plant symbolism in the Renaissance.
  • Art workshops: Tapestry (July 6 at 14:15 pm), Cabinet of Curiosities (July 8 at 14:15 pm) or The Art of the Fan (9 and 10 July at 14:15 pm).
  • Cinema Weekend: The 21 and 22 AugustEnjoy puppet animation workshops followed by outdoor film screenings (The Secret of the Titmouses et A tout jamais, une histoire de Cendrillon).

The French 3D Archery Championship! 🏹

This is the exceptional event of this late summer, free and open to all: Écouen welcomes the best archers in the country. August 13 to 16, 2026.  In addition, a whole range of free activities are planned: 

  • Introductory archery and shooting classes for visually impaired people.
  • Unique visits: Discover the Saint-Acceul church and its 16th century stained glass windows, the Écouen forest or the museum from the perspective of archery.
  • Festive Evening (Friday, August 14 (from 19:30pm to 21:30pm): A great free evening with an alternative rock concert byEmber Drive, theatrical sketches ("The Famous Jarnac Trick") and a festive Celtic rock concert with Trouz Ar Mor !
