The workshops of the Archéa museum

The ARCHÉA workshops are an opportunity to discover archeology or the past through a visit, followed by a practical workshop during which everyone makes an object related to the ARCHÉA collections and exhibitions.

Several types of workshops are offered depending on their age:
• Toddler workshops: from 18 months to 3 years old, for a first sensory discovery of the museum and its collections, accompanied by parents

• Toddler workshop: from 4 to 6 years old, to discover the museum and its objects through materials, shapes and colours. A workshop combining sensitive approach and recreational practice in the company of parents.

• Young archeologists workshop: an afternoon to discover archeology for ages 7 and up at the museum. Each workshop allows you to visit the museum or an archaeological site through a treasure hunt, then to experience an aspect of life in the Middle Ages or Antiquity through a practical realization.

• Parent-child workshop: take a tour of the museum and a workshop to share a parent-child moment. For 2 hours, parents and children discover together an aspect of the museum's collections. Grandparents are welcome! Children from 8 years old

Maximum age: 12 years old

Minimum age: 1.5 years
