For more information, a resident of Roissy tells you:

In English:

« Here is the Roissy tobacconist.
This is one of the places that has changed very little in a century. Both a café and a tobacconist, all the reasons were good for taking a short break at the bistro!
Motorists passing through, people returning from Paris and villagers all met at the counter in this friendly place.
Places for meetings and lively discussions, the café-bars allowed the villagers to relax after days or weeks of hard work, to have a drink, smoke and put the world to rights.
A French emblem, the bistro is still present in every village square!
Oh yes ! Latest information that I have from a reliable source! During the 1st World War, the coffee room and its apartments served as barracks for the troops stationed in the village! History sometimes slips behind a simple facade!
