This meeting around Royaumont's organ is an opportunity to enter the universe of an interpreter, as well as to hear an instrument classified as a historic monument.

Organist in residence at Royaumont, Thomas Lacôte is a scholarly artist, holder of the Trinity organ in Paris, composer and professor at the National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris. He imagined for this day after assumption a program of "Marian time", inspired by the figure of the Virgin.

This meeting around the organ of Royaumont - designed in 1864 by the organ builder Aristide Cavaillé-Coll - is an opportunity to penetrate the universe of an interpreter, as much as to hear an instrument classified as historic monuments, including the qualities of timbre find bright echoes in this large, uncluttered nave that is the monks' refectory.
