Exhibition “Heritages à la carte, discovering Roissy Pays de France”
From 18 Feb. 2023 to Nov. 12, 2023
Adapted tourism

An exhibition that highlights the richness and diversity of the heritage of the 42 municipalities that make up the agglomeration.
The ARCHÉA museum, located in the heart of the Roissy Pays de France conurbation, offers an exhibition that aims to address all forms of heritage (archaeological, hydraulic, civil, religious, funerary, industrial, natural, furniture, immaterial, etc. ) - protected or not - witnesses of the centuries-old history of the Pays de France.
It aims to make us aware of the notion of heritage, its history, its methods of protection and the expansion of this designation over time.
This exhibition outlines the extent and diversity of the heritages still in place and of those emerging at the heart of this young intermunicipality created in 2016. This brings together 25 municipalities in the east of Val-d'Oise and 17 municipalities in the north -west of Seine-et-Marne. The challenge is therefore to design a common territory in the heart of the Pays de France.
The exhibition is punctuated by testimonials from professionals and actors working to study and preserve local heritage, but also by interviews with residents who share their attachment to the riches and particularities of their living environment.
As always at ARCHÉA, playful and interactive devices for children and adults punctuate the exhibition: construction of models; discovery of holograms of unusual and emblematic heritage places, etc.
As for the scenography, it gives pride of place to the world of road signs, with in particular a large map on the ground on which you can walk to discover the main heritage elements of the Pays de France.
At the end of the visit, leave with your 100% Roissy Pays de France souvenir selfie!
