This start of the year is an opportunity to remind you of the highlights of the upcoming season and to present the new temporary exhibition, "Red! Archaeology of a Colour"
As the title suggests, the exhibition will explore the color red, drawing on our collections as well as borrowed objects. Where did the red materials used in these objects come from? Were they transformed before being sold? What fashions or symbolic meanings have been associated with the color red throughout history?
This exhibition will be accompanied by guided tours, an activity booklet, and an alternative route, as well as workshops and meetings with scientists. Finally, a new book will also complement the exhibition.
