Under the same sky?

The way we view the cosmos has powerful, if unsuspected, links with the techniques we use. Thus, the exhibition explores new mythologies and cosmologies to imagine our future and create new discourses, promoting a more harmonious relationship between societies, their technology, and the universe.

The exhibition highlights artists and game designers, who probe these alternative imaginations by exploring the relationships between contemporary art and video games. Under the same sky? reveals their great wealth of imagination, through the creation of worlds (virtual worldbuilding), the modification of video games (modding) and the action of creative communities. Their creative freedom (choice of physical laws, social norms, game rules) and the interactivity of the works allow new horizons to be opened.
