Along the paths and local flavors
From Gressy Manor, an elegant 17th-century residencee century located near the Ourcq canal, this 11km loop hike invites you to discover the authentic landscapes of the North of Seine-et-Marne.
The route takes you along quiet, green paths, connecting charming villages and farmland typical of the Seine-et-Marne region. You will notably cross the municipalities of Saint-Mesmes and Compans and will benefit from their relaxing atmospheres and discreet charms.
Accessible to all, this hike combines the pleasure of walking, the discovery of the Seine-et-Marne heritage and a local culinary experience.
This initiative brings together many local stakeholders around a common goal: to promote the practice of hiking and to showcase local producers, local products and short supply chains.
Take advantage of a nature getaway to recharge your batteries, share a friendly moment and discover the richness of the terroirs of Seine-et-Marne.
The stages of this gourmet day:
- Welcoming participants to Manor of Gressy and departure for the hike
Join us from 9:00 AM for the departures of this morning's discovery walk. A welcome coffee will be provided by the Manoir de Gressy to start the day off right. The last departures are scheduled for 9:45 AM. Please bring a map created and distributed by the volunteers of the Dammartin-en-Goële hiking club.
- Stop at the Compans harvest and a tasting of juices with diverse and delicious flavors
A tasting break is planned by the teams of the Compans harvest and the Grand Roissy Tourist Office. Enjoy local products and take a breath of fresh air in this green space.
- Passing through the village of Saint-Mesmes and its 16th-century churche century
Follow the directions provided by the volunteers and admire the local heritage of these areas of Seine-et-Marne.
- Back to Manor of Gressy and discover a wide variety of local products at the heart of a farmers' market
Upon arrival, a farmers' market awaits you, run by the Grand Roissy Tourist Office team. We are committed to showcasing local products and short supply chains from our local producers!
Craft beers* the Orville Brewery, Bob's homemade jams, vegetable oils from La Farmette… Many flavors await discovery! Local products to taste and buy!
*Alcohol should be enjoyed in moderation. Sea views, however, are limitless.
