This district is one of the oldest in Roissy. It depended directly on the "lower fief", the Tournelles farm. Originally, it had a circular shape, the same found in fortified villages.

In English:

“Here you are in the Square de la Concorde, formerly called Place du Souvenir Français. And there are “memories” all around this square!
Moreover, on the site of the gray and white residential building once stood the old Floquet farm. Look at the entrance porch of the residence: it was the main entrance to this farm! On your right you still notice other porches. They all recall the existence of the various Roissy farms.
You have to imagine that at the time, - as in all the French countryside -, everyone liked to meet on the village square to share discussions and good games of petanque!
Listen a little….we can still hear the villagers playing boules…
Since that time, the face of the square has changed a lot with, in particular, a major renovation carried out in 2007.”
