Andreas is Golf Manager at Golf Hotel Mont Griffon. Discover his journey and his portrait!

“I discovered golf at the age of 10, at the Laval golf course. I started working at the reception of this same golf course when I was 19 years old. I did it while studying. After 2 years in staps at the University of Le Mans, I chose to do my 3 staps license with the sports management option in Poitiers. This university has the particularity of being close to the world of golf. Indeed, there is a significant involvement in the Poitiers-Châlons golf course.

During my first year of Masters in Poitiers, I was able to do a year of civic service in this golf course. For my last year of Master 2 staps, I went to Marseille, renowned for its management research center. During this last year of training, I did a 6-month internship at the Mont Griffon golf course. Following this experience, they hired me as Golf Assistant in September 2017. Since the beginning of 2021, I have become Golf Manager.

Mont Griffon golf course is a remarkable setting in which to work with the Ysieux valley which runs alongside the golf course, the panorama over the Chantilly forest and the cathedral of Senlis. In the surrounding towns (Luzarches, Viarmes…) local shops such as florists, hairdressers, wine merchants, delicatessens, butchers offer a quality offer. The proximity with Roissy and his Charles de Gaulle airport (15min) allows us to have quick access to all of Europe. »
