Visit to the “ARTcheology, vestiges and works” exhibition

Contemporary art and archeology are two disciplines that seem distant at first glance. However, artists find in this human science, and the vestiges that it brings to light, numerous themes to explore and question.
In this exhibition, the intercommunal museum team created bridges between the museum's collections and the work of 16 contemporary artists - or duo of artists: paintings, sculptures, installations or photographs.
By bringing together traces of the past and living art, this contemporary rereading encourages the emergence of a new look at the collections.
