For several years, the DK-BEL Company has offered shows featuring dancers with and without disabilities. Often, the feedback from spectators is simply: “It’s beautiful…”.
She therefore wanted to deepen this notion of beauty, by seeking to understand how it can be a vector of personal emotion, collective emotion or even universal emotion. Beauty for Baudelaire is linked to the bizarre, the strangeness, the chaos, the pain and the fragility of Beings.
It is therefore from this definition that the company worked to create this new dance work. The choreographic piece “It’s BEAUTIFUL!” » will offer the world a particular, singular and sensitive vision of beauty, borrowing from all these notions, in symbiosis with the places crossed and their inhabitants...
