For the European Night of Museums, the scenography company “Les Plastiqueurs” imagines luminous amphorae. For an evening at the Archéa museum, “totem chalices” and “Amphorae chandeliers” are erected like sentinels watching over a world swallowed up by time. The curved shapes of the amphoras evoke the elegant and voluptuous lines of ancient objects, while glowing, they warm the atmosphere and illuminate the exhibition rooms. Alongside them stand luminous totems lighting the way for visitors and searchers of remains. Their mysterious shapes and lacy skin spark the imagination, inviting visitors to delve into the depths of history. The scenography resonates like an echo through the ages and reminds us that behind each object there is a story to discover.

Come make a collective sculpture! You will be able to meet the company's artists during a sculpture workshop offered to visitors. Parents and children (from 7 years old) will be able to imagine amphorae and volumes with glue, cardboard and cutting tools. The pieces made during the workshop can be stacked on top of each other to create small totems which will remain in the museum space. The number of volumes will give substance to a collective ephemeral installation which will echo the scenography installation presented that night on the facade and in the lobby of the museum.
