Zola and Méliès at the heart of the Dreyfus Affair!
1894. The Dreyfus affair cuts France in two. Alfred Dreyfus, captain of the French army, is accused of espionage and found guilty.
On the one hand, the army and the state spreading false rumors steeped in anti-Semitism; on the other, Émile Zola and Georges Méliès.
One with his pen, the other with the world's first camera, but both helped by their incredible wives, they engage in a fight for the truth. From this fight for the truth will emerge the most famous article in history and the first film censored for political reasons.
False rumors and anti-Semitism do not stop these reckless people who, armed with their courage and an extraordinary sense of duty, will try to shine the light.
