On the left, you can see the Town Hall, a former town hall built in 1784.

1) Porte St Come
Old city gate that gave access to the castle from above. It dates for its lower part from the beginning of the XNUMXth century. You can see a stunner and the sunken path where the portcullis used to slide. It was enhanced in the XNUMXth century in “troubadour” style.

2) Chateau St Come
A medieval fortress, this castle dates from the XNUMXth century. It was the property of the counts of Beaumont-sur-Oise. You can still see the Roman keep with its buttresses and its trapezoidal shape.
Around 1180, Count Jean 1er de Beaumont had a beautiful collegiate church built in order to deposit the relics of Saints Côme and Damien, which he brought back from the second crusade (1147/1149).
Destroyed during the revolution, one can see behind the trees, on the left of the keep, three Gothic arcades.

3) Plateau St Côme (The Room of the Ditches)
Located at an altitude of 105 m, this plateau has always been a strategic place.
The archaeological excavations carried out inside the castle by Alexandre Hahn in 1863 and those carried out by the JPGF of Villiers-le-Bel on the Champs des Martyrs in 1988 -1989 revealed the lower courtyard of the Saint-Côme castle. The plateau is continuously occupied from the Neolithic until the end of the Hundred Years War.
Porte Grièche (XNUMXth century), vestige of the first enclosure of the castle.

4) The Hall
Attested to in medieval texts in 1386, this hall has hosted several important fairs since its construction: Saint Côme and Saint Damien, Saint Simon, Saint Jude, and markets on Tuesdays and Fridays. The Friday one still takes place today.

On this square, the days of the fair were held the cattle dealers as well as the wine merchants, show booths, etc.
A neo-Gothic style school was built at 17 rue Bonnet.
The Maison du Val d'Ysieux is located on the site of the former hospital, built in the middle of the XNUMXth century by the architect V.Gillet.
Created by Abbé Soret, at the corner of rue de la paix and rue de l'Abbé Soret, an orphanage was built in 1862; there were up to 82 girl boarders.

6) Feudal mound
At the beginning of this street, behind the wall of the property, is one of the last feudal mounds of the Val d'Oise, built around the year one thousand.
This primitive fortified castle, erected by bringing land from the moat, defended access to the town from the east. This strategic point fit perfectly into the defense of this sector of the city.

7) The Castle of La Motte
This type of courtyard castle is characteristic of the time of Philippe-Auguste (XNUMXth century).
Its dimensions form a quadrilateral of 77m by 65m. The curtain walls are 1m70 thick.
Belonging to the Bouteiller de Senlis family, we owe these remains to Guy IV who rebuilt his castle in the first two decades of the XNUMXth century.
During the Renaissance, a wealthy family from Florence, the Cénami family, united under a single banner the two seigniories of Luzarches.

8) Saint-Côme and Saint-Damien church
Built on the site of a church mentioned in 775, it has a choir in Romanesque style cul-de-four, dating from the XNUMXth century. The latter is surrounded by a XNUMXth century chapel, dedicated to Saint Côme and Saint Damien, and a XNUMXth century Gothic chapel.
The porch is from the 1th century, the work of the architect Nicolas de St Michel. The intrados features two cartouches recounting scenes from the life of Saint Cosmas and Saint Damian, two physician twin brothers in Asia Minor in the XNUMXst century. Description of the church inside.
