Funding has just been found for the last section of the eastern bypass (via Le Mesnil-Amelot) at Roissy airport.

Indeed, negotiations were started in mid-November to finalize the financing of this project. The Ile-de-France region then agreed to bear the cost of the work.

These correspond to:

  • 2,6 million euros for the Seine-et-Marne department;
  • 1,3 million euros for the Val d'Oise department;
  • 900 euros for the Roissy-Pays de France agglomeration community.

It should be noted that the Île-de-France region has already invested 27,8 million euros in this project.

The last phase of the work concerns the eastern section of the bypass as well as the interchange located in Mesnil-Amelot.

This project (declared of public utility in 2003) meets a threefold need:

  • ensure the continuity of the Francilienne;
  • promote the economic development of the territory;
  • improve access to Charles de Gaulle airport.

It consists of the creation of a 2 × 2 lane motorway between the A1 motorway and the N2 as well as a two-lane departmental road to guarantee local services.

This work foresees the creation and maintenance of spaces favorable to biodiversity, as well as limitation of all kinds of nuisance for local residents.

The operation is led by the Regional and Interdepartmental Department of Equipment and Development of Île-de-France (DRIEA-IF), in partnership with the Île-de-France Region, the Departments of Val d ' Oise and Seine-et-Marne, the Roissy Pays de France Agglomeration Community and the ADP Group.
