The hospice of the Gonesse hospital has just received the label heritage of regional interest.

This is a label awarded to unrecognized and unprotected sites in the region. This in order to valorize and them to discover to the inhabitants of the region.

For the sites concerned, receive this label gives entitlement to aid :

  • one for restoration and development work;
  • the other to enhance and open this heritage to the public.

In November 2020, nine new sites in the region received this label.

Among them, theGonesse hospital hospice, located in the Val d'Oise. It was built in 1841, following the founding of the Hôtel-Dieu in 1208.

The building is located on the heights of the town of Gonesse.
